DEADWOOD
The inherent quality of dead wood in collected wild
olives makes them one of the most desirable species
in Europe. Because of the aforementioned, we have to
place particular attention to properly maintaining the
dead portions and cleaning them.
Cleaning dead wood is a task to be performed, even
before we begin branch formation. In this case and
given the circumstances, we delayed wood work until
after completion of the branch structure. We will not
delay it longer.
There is no need for sophisticated tools. A simple chisel will
allow us to lift the dead bark. Other tools used for clean up are As can be appreciated in the images, the limits be-

Some parts of the dead wood remain underneath dead

Careful observation reveals that there are some zones
