Tamarisk
Tamarix chinensis
Graceful, feathery foliage and dangling, plumelike pink flowers
in spring and summer make the tamarisk a lovely shrub. It can
grow in a weeping style, but needs a certain amount of
encouragement because it naturally wants to grow upward.
