Palazzo Arese Borromeo in Cesano Maderno consists of several buildings
which surround the central four-sided main courtyard. The palazzo
was built in the 17th century by Bartolomeo Arese III as a countryside
residence with a simple and austere external architecture, but with
interior rooms richly frescoed. This room with paintings and mosaics is
being restored at the moment.
Suiseki were shown in a big hall and three smaller rooms. Below is the
view into the Suiseki exhibition hall with beautiful frescos on the ceiling.
